Additional Learning Support
We operate an equal opportunity admissions policy that supports special educational needs through classroom-based teaching, with additional support from our special needs teacher if needed.
Our school welcomes children with mild learning difficulties and offers a range of additional support. Our policy includes children in most mainstream classes, with withdrawal from one or two subjects decided in consultation with parents, the pupil (age-dependent), and teachers.
If we find that a child’s individual needs cannot be fully met within our school, we will work closely and sensitively with parents to explore the best next steps and offer recommendations for alternative educational provisions that will support their child’s continued growth and success.
