MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGE (MFL) DAY

23rd March 2022

Connexion pour un but- la paix / kuungana kwa kusudi- amani

On Friday, 18th March we had an MFL day, a day set to celebrate Modern Foreign Languages taught in BKIS. These languages are French and Kiswahili.

Our theme was; MFL CONNECTING FOR PURPOSE- peace. Translated as;

- Connexion pour un but- la paix / kuungana kwa kusudi- amani

We learn foreign languages to:

- Value, appreciate and celebrate cultural diversity.

- Be a global citizen and have the ability to view things from a broad perspective.

The day had many activities like;

  • Poems, songs, dialogues/ roleplays, skits.
  • Fashion show to get Mr. and Miss. MFL.
  • Inter class dance competition.
  • Whole school Zumba

We are happy BKIS students embrace and promote Kiswahili and French to the best of their ability.
