It has been another successful week in BKIS where the celebration of achievements was acknowledged yet again! Our two girls; Dhara S. and Precious O. participated in Inter- schools Verse speaking competition in Nairobi Academy last Saturday. Their confidence was evident in their presentations which led to an impressive performance .They emerged position 3 and 2 in their categories respectively! Join me in congratulating our two wonderful girls for flying the BKIS flag up high.

Family Picnic

Thank you all for those who made it to our termly family picnic last Saturday. We had fun together as a family.

 Year 11 Parents -Teachers consultations

After three weeks of sitting for Mocks Exams, our seniors had the opportunity to discuss their results with their parents in the presence of teachers. I must say, that we are proud of their performance and our hope is that the good work pattern will continue to the end of the IGCSE. A schedule of extra lessons will be drawn just to maintain the momentum.

Upcoming Events

• U16 BKIS Basketball Tournament: Tomorrow BKIS will be hosting this great tournament. Jalaram Academy, Kisumu Senior and WISK have confirmed participation. It shall start at 9.00 am with expected end time of 12:30pm. Best wishes to our teams.
• Humanities Week: We are officially starting on Monday 5^th to end it on the 8^th A schedule will be sent out to outline the activities for each class. The climax of the week shall be on Thursday where everyone will come dressed in a Kenyan outfit or in colours of Kenyan flags.
• Sports Day: Friday 9^th, the rivalry between Perch and Tilapia houses will be revived again! It will be between 9 am and 12pm.There will also be a bakes sale organised by our ever generous ROBS mums.
• Movie Night: The end of the first half of the term will be marked by Movie Night at Mega City on Friday 9^th from 6pm.
