TERENCE L.K CHILDS - MBE

The Braeburn Group of Schools Founding Member and Chairman - Terence L.K. Childs, was honoured to be awarded an MBE - Member of the Most Excellent order of the British Empire, for his services to Education and to the wider community in Kenya and Tanzania.
The MBE is awarded for an outstanding achievement or service to the community which has had a long-term, significant impact.
Terry received this award on Wednesday from His Majesty The King at a private ceremony at The High Commissioner's Residence in Muthaiga. He was joined by his family, wife Jenny and children - Anthony, Taryn, Joanna and Christopher.
Upon receipt of his award, Terry expressed that it was an honour that recognises ALL the people who over the last 45 years have made Braeburn what it is today.
