An assembly is held every Friday. It is a forum to consider points of ethical or moral importance, to engender a feeling of community, to outline expectations and to reinforce positive achievements and behaviour and to celebrate achievements in sport, extra-curricular activities or academics by the presentation of awards.
Parents are welcome to attend assemblies, particularly if your son's or daughter's class making a presentation.
This week, the student leader on duty was Linda - the Year 6 Class representative. She highlighted the events that had taken place during the week and what to expect in week 5.
At the Primary Assembly, the Year 2s led us through an amazing assembly presentation! They finalized it by giving us various facts about China. Do you know why the Chinese love red? Well, red symbolizes happiness in China! Thank you year twos for the fun and rib cracking assembly!
The Year 10 Students also led the High school assembly with a presentation on Criticism. They highlighted various types of critisisms, namely Constructive criticism, Destructive criticism and Self Criticism. They went ahead to explain the importance of criticism and how to handle it. . Well done boys, what an insightful session!
